Losing a teammate to suicide had tremendous impact on his and others lives. Life’s not always a smooth ride. Peter Both went through a rough upbringing that very few heard or saw. Deep down there was emotional trauma that for many years was masked by chronic alcohol and drug use. After becoming a drug and alcohol practitioner in his 40’s and still continuing to drink heavily on weekends It took some courageous days life changing decisions which saw Peter quit the booze and turn to cycling which has completely transformed his life.
